Losing the Unique

Losing the Unique, exhibition installation view, Shifted Gallery

'Losing the Unique' was the second installment of collaborations between myself and Debbie Symons. The works presented explore the multi-faceted anthropogenic ecological identity, with its concerns in the archiving and documentation of the natural environment, and, the consequentiality of these actions. As we discuss the depth of our history and reassess our future, we must not stand to silence the call of an entire species and loose the uniqueness of an individual voice. The works seek to discuss the conundrum of our ecological situation and reflect on the relationship between man and nature.
